US Government shutdown

Post by Deepcrush on Thu Oct 03, 2013 10:37 am

Just to open the floor, how's everyone holding up with this? Work for me is going crazy but in the busy sense. With so many buildings closing and work sites shutting down, security requirements have nearly doubled.

Some things I've been trying to get taken care of seem to be delayed, but I'm not sure about it just yet. Otherwise, not much at all.

It hasn't really affected me day-to-day much... then again, I'm not receiving any variety of gub'mint funding or subsidy; I don't work for a federal agency or a contractor of such; even the nature reserves to which I take my kids are state or county parks.
