Babylon 5 Empty Babylon 5

Because honestly this is a must have topic for those of us who love Sci-Fi. I'm rewatching the series... again... and every time I do I'm more and more impressed with how well hidden the storyline was.

I've got 1-3 but under a thick layer of dust.

I should watch them with Val.

I've never really been into B5. That said, after seeing how a number of folks feel about it, I get the sneaking suspicion that I haven't really given it a fair shake. To be fair when it was first on air my schedule was wildly haphazard and I was never able to follow a story arc, or even watch 1 episode out of every three. This was probably more of a reason that I never pursued it later than any quality of the show itself. I might just have to go check it out as it was intended and give it another go.

As stand alone episodes B5 was just average. Some good some bad but where it shines is in the story arc. You can really dive into the characters and the troubles they face.

Seriously, if you just catch one here and there, it doesn't seem as special as it is. Watching in order is the way to go.

Yeah, a lot of it is on WB.com, you can go there and get started and get a feel for the story kick off.

I recall watching the whole show on there at one point, though you had to wait for episodes to be put up.

Funny as it sounds, its not a waste. You'll do it and be thankful for it.

"Waste" was a poor choice of words... I should have said "another thing to take my time away from things that are more necessary but less fun."
